The first WA game and a very hard opposing team in Queensland. Queensland claimed first blood with a cross from a long corner and a quick high deflection past Rex into goal.
Despite this, WA had most of the play in both halves and were unlucky not to score.
Finally Alison managed to score the equalizing goal, much to everyone’s relief.
